Ed Davidson (aka YoYoSpin) lives and works in Colorado Springs, Colorado. A former US Marine, Ed retired in 1996 after 25 years of engineering and program management with Texas Instruments and SAIC, with the aim of pursuing his life-long ambition of becoming a professional lathe artist.

"I have been working with wood for over 30 years, the last 12 or so, full time. Turning wood and exotic composites is now my passion. My work has been published in several national magazines, including the cover of American Woodturner, the cover of Crafts Report, and is well known throughout the Rockies."
